Hip deep in the stream and .... Fish On!! A quiet time for the intrepid caster of flies --Winter, snow, undisturbed fish! I prepared this piece for display for a fly-fishing tourney. The interaction of the fisherman to the hooked fish results in a modified "contra-posto", the articula¬tion of the slightly rotated body. When a good fish is hooked in this fashion there is arching in more than the pole. The place; the feel, the possibilities, all work to bring us back again and again to the throb of a rod under the strain of a good fish in the current.
